Antalis Ski Lodge – Sign & Digital UK 2019
Event Name: Sign & Digital UK 2019
Agency Website: www.antalis.co.uk
“The one-stop-shop for all your media, hardware and training needs”
Our stand concept is a ski lodge space which has been designed to show Antalis products in application. The stand must showcase the new product ranges (anita board and Coala Textiles) and generate 400 media/hardware/training leads for the business.
The main part of the stand should have a bar area to house and distribute samples, as well as be an informal area to serve soft refreshments and network. The rest of the internal space is to be creatively divided up into an area for one of our hardware partners (including space for a large format printer), a desk for our Antalis Academy training information and the launch of the Antalis Interior Design Awards. The rest of the space must inspire visitors and show them what is capable with our premium print media.
The external part of the stand should emulate the outside of a ski lodge to continue the theme. Here we can signpost our leading material brands and suppliers. One side of the outer stand is sectioned off for ANtalis Academy seminars covering a live demonstration of wallpapers and self-adhesive wall, window and floor graphics. These esssions are ran at specific times in the day to attract footfall and educate visitors.
Creative use of materials is key!
Various concepts were discussed before we decided to run with a ski-themed lodge. We then worked closely with our stand designers/builders to develop the theme throughout the stand, collateral, samples and communications.
Xanita Board was the main product focus with the majority of the furniture being manufactured from this material. Our other new range, Coala Textiles, was showcased on all internal walls of the stand, using the different textures available in each area. Many product elements were showcased in the design but the key ranges were highlighted in the showboards we hung on the walls. Each snowboard was manufactured from a printed sample of the material, showing the quality of the print that can be achieved. Product brands were then showcased on the simulated bottles behind the bar for brand exposure.
The execution and delivery of the project was superbly carried out by our stnad builders, Studio One. Also a customer of Antalis, Studio One were therefore very familiar with the materials we offer and would use within the design. Their creative ideas and exemplarary execution ensured that the stand was a huge success for us at the show.
All the main furniture pieces were designed and constructed using our new product, Xanita Board. A sustainable alternative to MDF in exhibition stand builds. As Xanita can be directly printed, the creative designs and realism achieved was outstanding. As it is only a quarter of the weight of MDF, and designed for modular construction, building the stand was achieved much quicker and at a reduced risk to health & safety. These elements were designed, printed and shipped to the UK from South Africa where Xanita are based. All elements were flat-packed into only one pallet, another advantage of this modular construction material.
Attendees did not fail to comment on how exciting the stand was to visit. The stand not elevated our brand to our key audiences but also created a huge sense of pride for employees manning the booth too. The organisers of the show said that if there was an awward for ‘best stand’, then we would have definately took the accolade.
We managed to achieve 499 leads over the three day period and had our best engagement of the year through social posts relating to the show. The Decor Live demonstrations had people queing around the stand to watch and learn as you can see from the supporting photography.
To this day, I still have people comment on how creative and impressive the stand was at a show held in April 2019! It was definately one that had the impact to be remembered!
