The Brief:  

As a perennial exhibitor with a prominent OTC presence, and as a global powerhouse in subsea, onshore/offshore and surface projects, TechnipFMC is a world leader in project management, engineering, and construction for the energy industry. From deep subsea oil and gas developments to the largest and most complex offshore and onshore infrastructures, TechnipFMC provides innovative technologies to meet the world’s energy challenges. For OTC2018, powerful, prominent and undeniably on-brand branding for the combined TechnipFMC was the goal. Also, a key driver was the launching of a new product: Subsea 2.0TM


The Solution:

With more than 2,300 exhibitors vying for the attention of over 50,000 attendees from more than 100 countries, the Offshore Technology Conference is the world’s foremost event for the development of offshore resources. And for this global powerhouse show that is OTC, TechnipFMC wanted to maximize its brand visibility with a bold, open, and compelling experience. As a leading global provider of engineering and construction services, technology products and integrated solutions to a broad range of industries, TechnipFMC sought a dominant presence in visually compelling and engaging environment that would fully reflect their position as a global leader and culture of purposeful innovation, in an OTC exhibit and experience that would be understated yet visually engaging and compelling.


The Activation:

It is with this clear vision and compelling mission that the design team at 2020 Exhibits aimed high and delivered this extraordinary 50’ xo 60’ experience. TechnipFMC branding and purpose-driven culture are infused throughout the space, with the powerful messaging infused throughout the space. Maximizing its brand visibility and showcasing product and service innovation, this fluid yet imposing landmark incorporates key brand elements and messaging. 2020 Exhibits designed and built the exhibit with a modern and spacious appearance, encompassing crisp design features that include bold, photographic imagery, white walls with bold on-brand angles and accents. The display has a fully-branded second level environment with two distinct conference rooms, the larger of the two is fully-private for C-suite meetings with a smaller, semi-private space for more informal yet important conversations. Two modern and comfortable, delineated seating areas are enseconded below. Boldly branded, dynamic hanging signage further projects the strength and dominance of the TechnipFMC brand.
Engagement across different divisions is seamlessly blended with varying digital and touch-screen experiences strategically placed throughout, product model displays, and a highly-visible, strategically positioned theater area at the front, angled alongside the main aisle, the exhibit projects a bold presence as TechnipFMC’s branding vehicle, reinforcing their position and message as a world leader.


The Result:

Harmonious as ever, this new exhibit experience for TechnipFMC hit all the right notes, capturing attention and affirming this global leading brand. Bold, creative and dynamic branding element and messaging.
